Xiaomi is likely to soon announce the Redmi K80 series, which will include the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro smartphones. However, a listing on the benchmarking platform has now hinted that the K80 Pro will run Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon processor which will be launched in early December. As per the whiffs from the social handles, the leaked specifications of both models, still, seemed equipped with a powerful chipset even in the base variant by default which will unsurprisingly be the Redmi K80.

This week, the Redmi K80 Pro was also discovered through China’s 3C certification platform with several model numbers: 24122RKC7C, 24127RK2CC, and 24127RK2CC. A variant of the same has now been spotted on Geekbench, with model number 24122RKC7C. It is likely to be driven by the octa-core chipset based on ARMv8 architecture, it can have five performance cores of 3.53GHz and three prime cores of 4.32GHz.
While the actual name of that chipset isn’t confirmed just yet, the clock speeds lean towards it being Snapdragon 8 Elite which was announced at last month’s Snapdragon Summit. The SoC is likely combined with around 14.76GB of RAM and the motherboard is codenamed as “Sun.” It scored 2,753 points in single-core performance but managed to score 8,460 points in multi-core performance on Geekbench 6.3.0 for Android AArch64 cross-platform benchmark tests.
