Samsung Galaxy S21 got BIS certification in India, more display renders of the S21 Ultra

Samsung is going to launch its Galaxy S21 series in the first half of 2021 (probably January 14). A lot of rumors and expectations are already there in the media regarding this upcoming series. There will be three smartphones in this series: Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Recently, the standard Galaxy S21 has got certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in India. Let’s check out some of the expected specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S21.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 will run One UI 3.1, based on the Android 11 OS, and it will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset or the Exynos 2100 chipset (not confirmed yet). Both the chipsets support 5G connectivity. Regarding the display, this phone will offer a 6.2-inch FHD+ LTPS display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Coming to the camera section, the Galaxy S21 will feature a triple rear camera setup which includes a 12MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 64MP telephoto sensor. In terms of battery, this phone is about to be fueled up by a decent 4,000mAH battery. Regarding the connectivity, this phone will support 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and so on. This phone will come in four different color variants: Phantom Violet, Phantom Pink, Phantom Gray, and Phantom White. It will feature a plastic rear panel.

Alongside this news, another report has also come out regarding the display renders of the Galaxy S21 Ultra. As per some earlier reports, the S21 Ultra will offer a curving display panel whereas the S21 and S21+ are about to feature flat displays. The latest renders show a display that is more edge-to-edge than before. The Galaxy S21 Ultra seems to be totally bezel-less. But there will no under-display camera. S21 series will retain the older punch-hole type selfie camera. At the bottom, we can witness a USB type C charging port, a mic hole, and a bottom-firing speaker grille.
