The Maruti Suzuki Dzire, currently India’s best-selling sedan and significantly outselling competitors like the Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze, is set to launch a new generation model. The latest generation of the car is all set for its launch with the slogan “The Best Is Just The Beginning.”
The new version boasts updated exteriors and enhanced interiors along with features that set it apart in its segment. The official release date is marked for November 11th, 2024. The vehicle is already available at dealership locations.
The Upcoming 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire
As a rival to the Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze, and Tata Tigor, the 2024 Dzire will showcase multiple feature upgrades over its predecessor. There will be design influences from the released Swift model highlighting a move, towards incorporating SUV like features to attract customers transitioning from hatchbacks and sedans. The outside has been spruced up with a grille featuring horizontal slats and refreshed headlights, along with fresh alloy wheels for a new look overall.
Added details include body panelling and chrome accents on the windows as well, as body-colored door handles to amp up the style. On the side view are blacked-out B-pillars that add to the appeal while at the end LED tail lamps are linked by a piano black strip for a modern touch. The Dzire will feature enhanced comfort for both drivers and passengers with a dual-color dashboard and a spacious 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay features.
The car also includes ORVMs, wireless charging capabilities, push-button start and rear AC vents as well as Type-A and Type-C USB ports. Notably, it will introduce a single-pane sunroof, a first for sub-compact sedans, available only in higher trims.
The Dizre is set to come with six airbags, in all models along, with an electronic stability system and rear parking sensors as a 360-degree surround view camera. It will borrow its engine lineup from the new Swift, including a 1.2-litre engine option with a CNG variant anticipated. Pricing is expected to range from ₹6.50 lakh to ₹10.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
