An entire lineup of what Intel is calling its Core 200H and Core 200U CPUs coming as part of the “Raptor Lake Refresh” has been leaked, which targets gaming & mainstream laptops. Despite appearances, Intel is not going all-in with Lunar Lake for laptops. With the same generation, but doing so to replace a now “everyman’s Raptor Lake-H series” dominated by HX parts and lacking lower core count models up until this point.

More About the Intel Core 200H and 200U

As per a leak from Jaykihn, Intel’s Raptor Lake Refresh mobile processors will bring seven new SKUs in total – both the Core 200 “U” and “H.” On a slightly more granular level, Intel’s “Raptor Lake Refresh” mobile lineup will roll out underneath two Core “200U” SKUs with 15W TDPs, the Core 5 250U and the Core 5 220U. These are expected to be upgraded versions of the older Core 5 150U and Core 5 120U.

Each two processors can have up to 10 cores with the latter featuring a clock speed of a maximum of 5.0 GHz, catering these into Intel’s lineup as entry-level parts that enthrone efficient performance. Intel on the other hand looks set to introduce five choices for its “200H” models, with a Core 7 270H seemingly their top model, as it appears Intel may have forgotten a Core 9 variant.

The chip is alleged to sport up to a 14-core configuration, (6P/8E), and may clock as high as 5.8 GHz, making it a strong competitor against the 13th-Gen H series and Intel’s Lunar Lake chips, particularly since refresh models usually offer excellent performance-to-price ratios. Intel is expected to launch the “Raptor Lake Refresh” mobile chips alongside their Core Ultra 200HX and 200H “Arrow Lake” laptop CPUs, with both series scheduled for release by Q1 2025.
