The Upcoming Xiaomi Redmi A4
While we couldn’t physically examine the device, a distant view reveals a sizable 6.7-inch flat display, elegantly designed with flat corners and rounded edges. The rear of the phone houses a round camera module with two sensors; led by a 50-megapixel primary, which would make it one of the highest resolution cameras at under ₹10,000. The device also features a 3.5mm audio jack on the top side. At the demonstration, two colors were shown – black and silver.
Through this strategic partnership, Xiaomi completes 10 years of servicing in India marking a milestone of over 250 million smartphones sold to Indian consumers across the country. Along with the smartphones, Muralikrishnan added 350 million other devices like laptops and tablets shipped in this time frame.
The company’s still-ambitious goal for the next ten years is to ship 700 million devices. This is all part of their 5G for everyone proposition, to reinforce how Snapdragon’s leading chipset technology complements Xiaomi’s commitment to creating devices that are accessible without compromising on quality.
By incorporating Snapdragon chipsets into its budget-friendly products, Xiaomi aims to enhance performance, efficiency, and 5G connectivity for a broader audience. This strategic move aligns with the increasing demand in India for capable yet affordable smartphones, ensuring that advanced features are accessible to more consumers. With the Snapdragon chipset’s cutting-edge AI capabilities and Xiaomi’s extensive market presence, the Redmi A4 has the potential to set new standards in the budget smartphone segment.
