OPPO Find X8 series is creating a lot of buzz in the smartphone market due to its hardware performance, especially when we take a look at Geekbench and AnTuTu Benchmark scores. After Vivo introduced the base model in the X200, OPPO officially unlocked the front shape of the Find X8, raising expectations for both aesthetics and function.

OPPO spokesperson Zhou Yibao said the Find X8 achieved a major design breakthrough: four sides represent regular, achieving more than the previous point structure. It has drawn comparisons to the iPhone 16 Pro, especially in its managed frame control. The importance of meticulous attention to detail is a stride in OPPO’s design philosophy.

This required OPPO to spend nearly 100 million over three years just developing the bezel for the Find X8. These challenges include complying with drop testing standards, building up the layers of glue and curing it, and the stress at the edges too. The company aimed to reduce bezel while solving all these technical problems.

Each of these were important challenges solved, as it greatly improved the production line yield — improving from 0% to a very impressive 99.9%. Even more, to accommodate the specialized equipment needed for this advanced production, OPPO even built a new facility designed from the ground up to deal with all of the weight and vibration issues that can occur in such delicate manufacturing.

In addition to its cutting-edge design, the OPPO Find X8 is incredibly slim, with a body thickness of less than 8mm and a weight of under 200g. This makes it lighter and thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro, which is 8.25mm thick.
