Hyderabad FC have confirmed the signing of Allan Paulista as their second foreigner of the season. The Brazilian striker arrives after Cy Goddard of Japan to reinforce the club’s attack as they attempt to rebuild themselves.
Paulista becomes the youngest foreigner to be recruited by the Nizams aged 25. The initial report of his arrival came out weeks ago, but visa issues delayed his entry into India. Now, he has landed in Hyderabad and is set to feature for the club soon.

“He is a strong and smart striker, who can score different kinds of goals, as he has shown in his time in his home country.
“Allan impressed in Serie D in Brazil last season, before being snapped up by Chinese League One outfit Heilongjiang Ice City in January.
“The striker registered four goals and two assists in just nine league starts before the end of the campaign and will join the Yellow and Black as their youngest-ever overseas recruitment,” the club confirmed in their official statement.
After being close to losing out on ISL competition altogether, Hyderabad FC have quickly assembled a squad to field this season. Their opening fixture saw them lose 3-0 to Bengaluru FC with only three weeks of preparation. However, they put up a strong fight.
Now, it remains to be seen if they can slowly improve their performances with the arrival of Allan Paulista to lead their attack.
