Barcelona have confirmed that Fermin Lopez will be out for three more weeks after sustaining an injury in training. The young forward was one of the standout performers at the Olympics, scoring six goals and providing one assist as Spain won the gold medal.
The youngster has suffered an injury in the right rectus femoris muscle in his thigh. As a result, it will be another month before Culers can see the player on the pitch again.

The 21-year-old has made three appearances this season, but suffered an injury which halted his momentum. Now, another setback has prevented him from providing the much needed impact Hansi Flick needed for his side.
It’ll be interesting to see how things turn out for the former Bayern Munich manager once the likes of Gavi and Fermin are available for selection. Although the manager has done fairly well so far, the expectations are always sky high for Culers.
Lopez has already shown signs of his quality, with the latest occasion being the Olympics. Before that, he had scored in a preseason El Clasico against rivals Real Madrid, and seems to have an eye for goal.
