David Datro Fofana has signed for Turkish club Goztepe FC on loan for the 24-25 season. The striker will have the option of returning to Chelsea in the January transfer window as the two clubs have included a break clause in his contract.
The Turkish side has made his arrival official, and he will likely be available in their squad from the next match day.

The 21-year-old was linked with a transfer to Leicester City and AEK Athens earlier in the transfer window. However, possible transfers to both clubs fell through as they couldn’t reach an agreement with Chelsea.
Despite the transfer window closing for Europe’s top leagues, the striker has managed to find a new club, at least for the first half of the season. He spent the first half of last season on loan at Union Berlin, but was barely used. Fofana was then sent to Burnley, where he had a bright start, scoring four goals and providing one assist in 15 games.
Now, it remains to be seen if he will ever find his way back into the Chelsea first team or if he will continue to be loaned around till a permanent transfer eventually comes around.
