Xiaomi Mi Max 3 to launch in India in soon with a 6.9 inch display and a 5500mAh battery

After the latest Xiaomi Redmi 6 series, it will reportedly launch its the third-generation Mi Max device very soon. The company took to Twitter to reveal the upcoming Mi Max 3. The phablet will feature a 6.9-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio without any notch on the display.
The specifications of the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 were earlier revealed by Chinese certification website Tenaa. According to Xiaomi Mi Max 3’s listing on Tenaa, the smartphone could come in three variants, featuring 3GB RAM, 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM. It is said to run Android 8.1.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. Powering the three Xiaomi Mi Max 3 variants could be an octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz.The handset may also come in three storage variants – 32GB, 64GB and 128GB respectively. It may also support a microSD card with support for up to 128GB.

Key Specs :

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 845
  • 6.4inch FHD+ IPS LCD full-screen display
  • 12MP + 12MP dual rear camera
  • Dual front cameras
  • 8GB RAM
  • Android 8.0 Oreo
  • 256GB ROM
  • 4000 mAh battery

As for the battery, the Mi Max 3 is supposed to have a massive 5400mAh battery, which if true, will be 100mAh more than the Mi Max 2 and a generous bump over the original Mi Max’s 4850mAh battery. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will house a dual-lens rear camera aligned vertically along with a circular fingerprint scanner at the back. One of the rear cameras could have an 8MP sensor, same as the front-facing camera.
