iPhone 16 Series Launch on September 10: Rumored Design Changes, Pricing, and New Features

iPhone 16 series, meanwhile is due to launch in the second week of September with an announcement rumored for September 10 and first sales commencing on September 20. The brand for this year is represented by four models iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Plus, and just the regular iPhone 16. Rumors have been hinting at the inclusion of major design changes, features, and improvements in the iPhone 16 series as we are closing to its launch next year.

Apple usually announces its new iPhones in the first few days of September, and last year it debuted 15 series in September. According to reports, this is going to be the trend with iPhone 16 series sales commencing a mere ten days after they are launched this year.

Pricing for the iPhone 16 series may see an increase due to higher production costs. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are likely to retain last year’s prices at ₹79,900 and ₹89,900, respectively. However, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max could see a price hike of up to ₹10,000, with the iPhone 16 Pro possibly starting at ₹1,44,900 and the Pro Max at ₹1,69,900.

As for design, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are said to maintain identical sizing as today but with a unique vertical camera lens setup. These are all identical except for their color schemes, which come in black, green, pink, and white hues; however, there is no purple or yellow anywhere to be seen.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are said to offer black, white, or silver, gray or “Natural Titanium,” plus a new rose gold or bronze option.  According to a new CoffeeKlast report, all iPhone 16 models will get a new “Capture Button” with multi-level pressure sensitivity for zooming and shooting, as well as a spatial video recording targeted at Apple’s Vision Pro headset.

The Pro models will see a size upgrade, with the iPhone 16 Pro featuring a 6.3-inch display and the Pro Max a 6.9-inch display, along with the Tetraprism 5x optical zoom lens. Slightly larger battery capacities, with Pro models adding 40W wired charging and 20W MagSafe charging. The A-series chips used in all iPhone 16 models will be the latest ones made at N3E using TSMC’s most advanced technology node.
