Xiaomi is working to bring Redmi 14C and POCO C75 smartphones globally. Recently, a fresh new leak revealed both smartphones have now secured their TUV certification in advance of their official release. It appears that Xiaomi is planning to launch these new smartphones.
The Upcoming Redmi 14C
In the TUV certification, there are model numbers 2409BRN2CY, 2409BRN2CA, 2409BRN2CL, 2409BRN2CC, 2409BRN2CG, and 2410FPCC5G which confirms that all of these Xiaomi upcoming devices will ship with TUV Rheinland certified. Also, the 2409BRN2CA model was identified on the NBTC certification document which second indicates the imminent launch of these devices.
Surprisingly, the certification suggests that POCO C75 is indeed a rebranded Redmi 14C and this has been confirmed by model number as previously seen from both IMDA and FCC certifications; coming under the name of 2410FPCC5G. The POCO C75 name was also tipped in an earlier IMEI database listing.
The model numbers 2409BRN2CY / 2CA / 2CL / 2CC / 2CG were listed in the IMEI database, along with Redmi 14C confirming it as such. Furthermore, the Redmi 14C was caught in a bucket of Hyper OS source code that it is ready to launch on top of Android 14 built-in right out-of-the-box. Now that both smartphones have passed through the FCC, we know for certain they will be LTE compatible and fully equipped to work on such high-speed networks.
So far, Xiaomi has been tight-lipped about the complete specs of upcoming Redmi as well as Poco smartphones. Newer devices, on the other hand, are expected to be replacements of the Redmi 13C and POCO C65 that came with a 6.74-inch IPS display panel MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, and a battery capacity of up to 5,000mAh That said, the presence of these features hints that both Redmi 14C and POCO C75 will provide at least similar if not better specs for the budget smartphone segment.
With the TUV, IMDA, FCC, and NBTC certifications in place, the launch of the Redmi 14C and POCO C75 appears imminent, further solidifying Xiaomi’s presence in the global smartphone market.
