Exciting news for smartwatch enthusiasts: Google’s Pixel Watch 3 is set to be officially unveiled on August 13. This time around, Google is shaking things up by offering two different sizes for the Pixel Watch 3—41mm and 45mm—marking a first in the series.
Google Pixel Watch 3 Pricing and Other Details
Today, we got our hands on leaked pricing details for all versions of the new smartwatch via AndroidHeadlines. If you opt for the 41mm Wi-Fi and Bluetooth variant, it will set you back $349. The larger 45mm option will cost $399. For those who want the added convenience of LTE connectivity, the 41mm model will be priced at $449, while the 45mm variant will go for $499.
It’s interesting to note that the Pixel Watch 2 was only available in a 41mm size, with the same $349 price tag for the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi versions. However, the LTE model was priced at $399, making it $50 cheaper than the upcoming Pixel Watch 3 LTE version.
Despite these price increases, the smaller Pixel Watch 3 remains $50 less than the Apple Watch Series 9 of the same size. On the flip side, it will be $50 more than the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and $100 more than its LTE version when comparing the 40mm models.
One of the standout features of the Pixel Watch 3 is its display, which boasts a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits. In addition, charging the 41mm model will be about 20% faster compared to the Pixel Watch 2. As for compatibility, you’ll need an Android phone running Android 10 or later to use the Pixel Watch 3.
A few days ago, the color options for the Watch 3 were also leaked, adding to the anticipation of its release. Stay tuned, as we’ll bring you more updates about the Google Pixel Watch 3 as its launch date approaches. Whether you’re considering an upgrade or a first-time purchase, this new smartwatch promises to offer compelling features and choices.
