AMD Ryzen 9 5950X spotted on Userbenchmark

The upcoming 16-core monster from AMD is going to land soon to the market and before that we have a pretty interesting benchmark score that shows how monstrous AMD’s new 16 core CPU is. Obiously, Zen 3 architecture primarily focusses on the improvement in the single-core performance keeping intact to the same efficiency and multi-core speed we saw with Zen 2.

So, before coming out on shelves, we see the new Ryzen 9 5950X on Userbenchmark in courtesy of @TUM_APISAK. As we see, the new 16 core CPU is compared against the upcoming Intel’s Rocket Lake CPU and it dominates in single-core performance as well as in multi-core performance.

One of the biggest advantage for these new Ryzen 5000 series processors is the fact that they have a huge unified cache that can be accessed by all of the cores using AMD’s fast infinity fabric. So, even if AMD still uses chipsets to reduce costs, it doesn’t lower performance and this is evident in the benchmarks.

Not only AMD beats Intel’s upcoming CPU in all aspects but also this proves the improvement you can expect in games. In gaming, these AMD CPUs give better to same performance than Intel’s current 10th Gen CPUs and I am pretty sure there will not be much difference with Intel’s upcoming 11th Gen, which technically still will be based on 14nm process.

We also see a huge improvement from previous generation in the next benchmark both in single-core performance and a multi-core performance as well as low latencies as well, suitable for gaming along with productivity.
