Atletico Madrid have confirmed the signing of Robin Le Normand from Real Sociedad. The Spaniard is set to join the Rojiblancos once he returns from his vacation in the coming days.
This summer, Le Normand starred with the Spanish national team, playing all but one game for his country at the Euros as they emerged victorious. Le Normand has become the first new signing of the summer for Atletico, and more players are set to follow in the coming weeks.

The 27-year-old is at the peak of his abilities, and showed the same at Euro 2024. He will be replacing Stefan Savic and Mario Hermoso at his new club, with the duo leaving this summer.
While he did concede an own goal in the Euros, his overall performance has been quite solid. And under the guidance of Diego Simeone, he could take his game to the next level.
Atletico Madrid were expected to complete the signing of Artem Dovbyk soon, but might lose out to Roma. The Giallorossi have reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with the Ukrainian and are now discussing the move with Girona.
