Poco M6 Plus 5G India Launch Date Set for August 1

Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Poco has announced the launch of its new phone, Poco M6 Plus 5G in India on a dedicated microsite at Flipkart will be launched next week This microsite shows off the design of the phone and also its key details. This phone will have a 108 MP rear main camera and the same front hole-punch design.

The Upcoming Poco M6 Plus 5G

As per the Flipkart microsite, Poco M6 Plus will be officially unveiled on August 1 in India. The model’s dual-tone violet back and flat sides are visible in the listing, as is a centered hole-punch front camera. The teasers have confirmed a 108-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.75 aperture included in the dual rear camera setup and come alongside ring-LED flash for better photo shoots, as well as 3x optical zoom.

Although the Poco M6 Plus 5G is rumored to go on sale via Flipkart soon it seems to have already been listed on Amazon starting from ₹14,999 for the device with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Additionally, the Amazon listing says that it will deliver by August 2, but the authenticity of this listing, including the pricing and specifications, remains uncertain.

This microsite includes the Poco M6 Plus 5G with Android14-powered HyperOS, a 6.79-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 16-megapixel front camera. The phone is shown in black graphite.

The Poco M6 Plus 5G is said to get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, which is listed to pack a 5,030mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The device was launched in China back in the month of May where it started at CNY 1,399 (approx ₹16,000) for its base model that includes a configuration with 6GB RAM and 128 GB storage further up to CNY 1,999 (approx ₹23,000).
