Match 47 of the Indian Premier League (2020) of the Indian Premier League will feature a pivotal match between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The equation is simple for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. They have to win each and every game and wait for the net run rate equation. Since their net run rate is positive, they have a better chance of bagging that number 4 spot.
Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, are looking for that one win which would make them the first team to qualify for the playoffs. They would then like to continue with that momentum and stress on being in the top two of the points table.
Sunrisers Hyderabad
SRH would be extremely disappointed at their performance in their last match against the Kings XI Punjab. Johnny Bairstow has been getting starts but it’s high time he converts one of them into a big one. Their lower middle-order namely Samad and Priyam Garg should take responsibility as well. Their lack of form puts unnecessary pressure on David Warner, Manish Pandey, and Vijay Shankar.
Their bowling, however, has been great. Jason Holder has been a breath of fresh air for them. Rashid Khan has been picking up timely wickets. Sandeep Sharma and Natarajan have been doing their respective roles. Also, Vijay Shankar is providing a full quota of 4 overs.
Delhi Capitals
Capitals have had some difficulty in their batting since their last few matches they were at least 10-15 runs short. Rishabh Pant being injured has added some distortion in their team combination. The restriction of playing four foreign players had Shimron Hetmyer out of the playing 11 as well. However, they have equally capable Ajinkya Rahane and Alex Carey replacing them.
However, with the return of Rishabh Pant and Shimron Hetmyer, things could be back on track as their batting is concerned. Their bowling, however, can compensate for some fewer runs. Everyone in their bowling attack has been phenomenal.
Fantasy XI team
KAGISO RABADA (9.5) (C) – Rabada has been the highest wicket-taker of the season so far. He’ll be our captain.

DAVID WARNER (10.5) – David Warner has been in phenomenal form and has been consistent as well.
MANISH PANDEY (9) – Pandey looked great against RR where he scored 83 runs which included 8 sixes.
RISHABH PANT (9) – Pant will slowly find a rhythm as he progresses in the tournament post-injury.
MARCUS STOINIS (9) – Stoinis has looked great and has provided both runs and wickets at crucial stages.
VIJAY SHANKAR (8) – He scored important 52 runs against Rajasthan Royals and can also give 2-3 solid overs.
AXAR PATEL (8.5) – Patel has been in great form with both bat and ball.
JASON HOLDER (8.5) – Holder picked up wickets consistently and can bat a bit as well.
SANDEEP SHARMA (8) – Sharma has been in good form and has been consistently among wickets
PREDICTION
DC has become a strong force again after the return of Pant and Hetmyer. Even though Prithvi Shaw and skipper Shreyas Iyer have lost their form, Shikhar Dhawan has compensated for that. SRH, on the other hand, hasn’t shown consistency. Delhi Capitals will therefore defeat the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
