The Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL were seen on Geekbench, a benchmarking website, earlier today. Additionally, the device’s nomenclature is verified by the database listings.

The chipset called “Tokay”—which is presumably connected to the Tensor G4 SoC—will power the Pixel 9, according to the listing. One prime CPU core running at 3.10GHz, three mid-cores at 2.60GHz, and four cores capped at 1.95GHz are all part of the octa-core CPU configuration of Google’s next proprietary chip, the Pixel 9. Tensor G3 CPU core count, for instance, is nine.

As previously said, the Tensor G4 would be an improvement above the Tensor G3. The motherboard dubbed “komodo” is listed for the Pixel 9 Pro XL on Geekbench. Four 1.95GHz cores, three 2.60GHz cores, and a 3.10GHz primary core make up the configuration. This implies the Tensor G4 chipset will power the phone. The onboard GPU is a Mali-G715 chip.

According to Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core test results, the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL receives 1,378 and 3,732 points respectively. The benchmarking platform only discloses this information on the Pixel 9 Pro XL. In the upcoming months, more information should become available. On AnTuTu, the phone received 1,176,410 points.

Despite being dubbed the “XL,” the Pixel 9 Pro XL isn’t anticipated to be any bigger than Google’s last flagship, which debuted in 2023. Instead, because of its stainless steel frame, it may weigh a little bit more than the Pixel 8 Pro while having a same size.
