Fallout 76: 6 Wasteland Wonders Coming to Skyline Valley

Fallout 76 is about to embark on its most significant update yet with the arrival of Skyline Valley. Launching later this year, this expansion promises to broaden the world, introduce new enemies and quests, and even allow players to become ghouls for the first time.

Here are six exciting additions coming to Fallout 76:

Appalachia Grows Bigger Than Ever:

For the first time in Fallout 76’s six-year history, the core map is expanding. Skyline Valley extends the world south into the scenic Shenandoah region, offering players a vast new area to explore and discover. This isn’t just another isolated Expedition zone – Skyline Valley seamlessly integrates into the existing map, allowing for continuous exploration and camp building.

20 New Points of Interest:

Dotted across Skyline Valley are 20 new points of interest, each waiting to be explored. From real-world inspired locations like Mary’s Rock Tunnel and Rapidan Camp to entirely new settlements, there’s plenty to uncover in this sprawling expansion.

A New Vault Opens Its Doors:

The mysterious Vault 63 has been a constant source of intrigue for Fallout 76 players since launch. Skyline Valley finally throws open its giant metal doors, revealing the secrets it has held for so long. Prepare to delve into the depths of Vault 63 and unearth its dark history.

Meet The Lost:

Emerging from Vault 63 are The Lost, a new enemy faction unlike any encountered before. These feral ghouls have been warped by the Vault’s experiments, becoming electrified and incredibly aggressive. Their leader, Hugo Stolz, appears different from the rest, hinting at a deeper mystery within Vault 63.

New Enemies Beyond The Lost:

While The Lost are the primary threat in Skyline Valley, they’re not the only new foes. Storm Goliaths, towering robotic monstrosities, roam the region, wielding the power of the weather as a weapon. And if that wasn’t enough, mutated monstrosities like the Thrasher, a terrifying turkey-cow hybrid, lurk in the hills.

Become a Ghoul (Coming in 2025):

In a later update scheduled for 2025, Fallout 76 takes a major leap forward by allowing players to become ghouls. This is more than just a cosmetic change – ghouls gain unique abilities and resistances, altering how you approach the game. With perks specifically designed for ghouls, a whole new playstyle opens up, encouraging experimentation and challenging the established meta.

Fallout 76: Skyline Valley promises a revitalized wasteland experience. With a map expansion, new stories to uncover, and the chance to become a ghoul, this update is sure to excite even the most seasoned vault dweller.
