The Poco Pad 5G model number 24074PCD2I was listed on the BIS website. The next device’s 16:10 aspect ratio was also disclosed in the listing.
Naturally, that also indicates that it will be available in India. The Poco Pad 5G is most likely going to be a rebranded Redmi Pad Pro 5G since the Poco Pad is just a Redmi Pad Pro.
POCO Pad 5G specifications and launch rumors
With up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 CPU powers the Poco Pad. There is an 8MP camera on the front and a single 8MP camera on the rear of the tablet.
This suggests that the Redmi Pad Pro 5G and POCO Pad 5G may be comparable since the Redmi tablet was recently seen using the 24074RPD2I model number on the TENAA certification page. According to the POCO Pad 5G’s entry on the BIS website, Indian customers may soon be able to purchase the tablet with 5G connectivity. Other than that, no information about the POCO tablet has been made public.
At the end of May, the 12.1-inch, 1600×2560, 120 Hz LCD touchscreen with 600-nit peak brightness, 6/8GB RAM, 128/256GB storage, an 8 MP rear camera, an 8 MP front camera, and a 10,000 mAh battery with 33W wired charging capability were all included in the debut of the Redmi Pad Pro 5G. With Xiaomi’s HyperOS installed on top, it runs Android 14. So, POCO Pad 5G could be the rebrand of Redmi Pad Pro 5G.
