Both chipsets are octa-core, including 4x Arm Cortex-A78 cores at up to 2.5GHz and 4x Arm Cortex-A55 cores. Moving from the Dimensity 7050 and its 6nm process to a 4nm process with these chipsets can lower power usage by 25% in total. This thorough efficiency improvement takes a huge breakthrough in efficiency and energy conservation.
If you are into gaming, the Arm Mali-G615 GPU should give you a higher refresh rate, refresh rate, as well as a better display. The company’s HyperEngine provides a smooth experience with graphics capabilities to give you a much better gaming experience. Dimensity 7300 series: MediaTek claims that the Dimensity 7300 series delivers 20% faster frames-per-second (FPS) and 20% better energy efficiency when gaming than comparable alternatives for a superior gaming experience.
Moreover, they offer intelligent resource management as well as optimized 5G and Wi-Fi connections for gaming along with support for Bluetooth LE Audio technology with Dual-Link True Wireless Stereo Audio. All of this is combined to provide uninterrupted connections and audio experiences.
In terms of imaging, the Dimensity 7300 series is packed with the MediaTek Imagiq 950 which is a 12-bit HDR image signal processor (ISP) that allows it to support a main camera up to 200MP. It includes advanced hardware engines for precise multi-camera noise reduction (MCNR), hardware face detection (HWFD), and video HDR. This translates to a 1.3 times faster live focus photo performance and 1.5 times faster photo remastering compared to Dimensity 7050 says MediaTek. Its integrated MediaTek APU 655 is said to offer twice the AI performance of the previous generation and enables AI-driven tasks and applications.
MediaTek has not revealed the name of the device that will introduce the new chipset, but rumors indicate that the Dimensity 7300X SoC will arrive on the Motorola Razr 50 in June. With this, it can be seen that MediaTek is ensuring that it is a step ahead of the mobile industry when it comes to the advancement of mobile technology in order to better serve the changing requirements of the smartphone market.
