Barcelona Femeni have won the UEFA Women’s Champions League 2024, defeating Lyon 2-0 in the finals to claim the quadruple this season. Aitana Bonmati scored the opener shortly after the hour mark, before Alexia Putellas scored the winning goal in injury time to end all chances of a comeback.
The Catalonian side has been in top form this season, and won against one of the top women’s teams in the world in Lyon, establishing themselves as the undisputed champions of women’s football altogether.

Barca have not lost a single game in the Primera Division, and have only drawn one game against Levante in February. They have scored 129 goals, conceding only 9 goals in the division, and have sealed the title already.
The team has also won the Copa de la Reina, smashing Real Sociedad 8-0 in the finals to seal their 10th title, the most in history. And alongside it, the Supercopa de Espana Femenina, defeating Levante 7-0.
Unlike the men’s team, the women’s side has been in top form for years. And all signs point to them being able to keep it up for the coming seasons.
