Apple also showed a revised version of its Magic Keyboard, an add-on that enhances the iPad Pro’s laptop-like capabilities. Aluminum gives the new Magic Keyboard a more upscale appearance and feel. A function row and a bigger trackpad are features of the new Magic Keyboard.
Magic Keyboard features and pricing
Customers adore the mystical floating form of the new Keyboard, which unfolds to reveal a function row with controls for screen brightness and volume. The whole experience is identical to using MacBook thanks to its bigger trackpad with haptic feedback and stunning aluminum palm rest.
It adds a bigger glass trackpad with haptic feedback, replaces the plastic palm rest with an aluminum one, and retains the cantilevered double-hinged design and one USB-C connector (for power only). It finally has a function row, a feature Apple added to the base-model iPad in 2022 with the Magic Keyboard Folio, unlike the original.
Black and white are the two color options for the new Keyboard, which is available in two sizes to fit the 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro models. The same as the previous generation Magic Keyboard, it is pre-orderable now for $299 for the 11-inch model and $349 for the 13-inch model. It will be on sale in stores the following week.
A new Smart Folio for Apple iPad Air has been announced in other keyboard attachment news. With “greater flexibility” than the previous model, it is magnetically attached and allows for numerous viewing angles.
