Tushar Deshpande impressed with the ball for the visitors, racking up figures of 4 wickets for 27 runs in three overs, dismantling the Hyderabad batting order. He dismissed Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma and impact sub Anmolpreet Singh at the top of the order to give Chennai Super Kings a huge advantage.
Deshpande also dismissed Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Pat Cummins, and sealed the win with a thrilling performance. His contribution with the ball was just as important as Gaikwad’s, with both players playing an important role.
