Apple has launched its iPhone 12 series along with other accessories. The premium iPhones of this series have some unique features which were introduced by Apple for the first time. One of those unique features is the iPhone 12 includes a unique ring of magnets on the back that Apple is using for the revival of the MagSafe branding. With this technology, you can attach your iPhone to any metallic surface which attracts the magnet. It is a very useful feature if you charge your device wirelessly or if you want to get a premium look by setting your iPhone inside your car. Keeping these in mind, Apple has already announced a handful of MagSafe accessories, including magnetic cases and wireless chargers, but it also teased during the event yesterday that third-party accessory makers will be able to tap into the MagSafe ecosystem.
Two renowned accessories maker companies such as Belkin and PopSockets have already at work of making new MagSafe accessories for iPhone 12. Recently, Belkin has teased a new wireless charging accessory and a new car mount whereas PopSockets is planning new Grips that use magnetics. PopSockets grips are nothing but are designed to make it easier to hold larger-screened iPhones and they generally attach via an adhesive material that can be removed multiple times. But one disadvantage is that it will lose its stickiness over time.
On the other hand, Belkin has announced its plan for a pair of accessories: a MagSafe Car Vent Mount, as well as a 3-in-1 wireless charger. With that charger, you can easily connect your iPhone 12 vertically, credit to the magnetic rear panel. Secondly, the new Car Vent Mount Pro will provide a “safe, convenient, and stylish way” to use iPhone 12 on the road, which will give you and your iPhone a premium feel while driving.
