On Wednesday, April 17, the Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G was on sale worldwide. The phone was first revealed in February of this year at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona. It incorporates a triple rear camera unit and the company’s PolarAce Imaging System, which consists of an independent imaging chip.
Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G specifications
The Tecno Camon 30 Premier is the brand’s first non-foldable smartphone featuring a 6.77″ LTPO OLED panel. One 50 MP camera is located inside the front punch hole of the Camon 30 Premier, while the other three are located on the back (wide, ultrawide, and periscope telephoto).
With three separate 50-megapixel sensors—one with an optical image stabilization (OIS) of up to three times, another with an optical zoom of up to three times, and a third with an ultra-wide-angle lens—the Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G boasts a triple back camera system. The quad flash unit is attached to these sensors. A 50-megapixel sensor with capabilities for autofocus is also included in the phone’s front camera setup.
Running Android 14 out of the box, the phone is powered by a Dimensity 8200 Ultra. Like the other Camon 30 devices and the Pova 6 duo, it has a 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged at 70W.
The precise cost of Tecno’s phones is not disclosed. The Camon 30 Premier’s pricing will vary according to the market, the business claimed, and it will be disclosed at the time of each country’s release.
