Italy currently lead the UEFA coefficients and are on course to secure a fifth Champions League spot for next season. With Europe’s top flight expanding and changing formats in 2025, the countries ahead in the coefficients will be given a fifth spot through which teams can automatically qualify.
The Serie A is followed by the Bundesliga, as Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen are still in their competitions. However, they are closely followed by the Premier League, which has five clubs in all European competitions.

Spain and France have significantly fewer points than England, but could receive a boost if their remaining teams qualify for the semifinals of the European competitions.
Financially, it will be great for another Serie A club to enter the Champions League considering the boost in revenue and prize money involved. This will help the teams compete with the other leagues across Europe, which have improved rapidly over the last few years.
However, nothing is set in stone just yet and England could make the leap to second place if Arsenal best Bayern in their second leg quarter final fixture.
