BTS Dominates Billboard: Half the Band Graces Same Chart!

BTS is currently on hiatus as its seven members fulfill their military obligations in South Korea. While the group is taking a break, some members have been releasing solo music.

Even though they’re not actively promoting their new music, individual members of the band continue to find success on the Billboard charts. This week, almost half of the seven globally dominant boy band members are featured on the same ranking.

In the current period, three out of the seven BTS members achieve hits on the Digital Song Sales chart. Two of them make their debut on the tally, which monitors the bestselling tracks in the U.S., while another maintains his presence for one more period with his latest release.

This week, J-Hope secures two new spots on the Digital Song Sales chart with the success of his latest EP, Hope on the Street Vol. 1. Among them, “Neuron” achieves the highest position, debuting at No. 5.

Right below the top positions, J-Hope secures another spot with his track “I Wonder…” debuting at No. 12. With 4,011 sales in its debut week, this song, featuring fellow BTS member Jung Kook, marks a new hit collaboration for both artists.

Further down the chart, another BTS member, V, sees his recent single “Fri(end)s” drop from No. 14 to No. 18. Despite the descent, the song continues to attract listeners, selling an additional 2,778 copies in its third week on the Digital Song Sales chart.
