TCL has recently unveiled two Mini LED gaming monitors, the 34R83Q and 27R83U packed with cutting-edge features. Designed for top-tier gaming performance, TCLs 34″ and 27″ Mini LED Monitors ensure display clarity. Both models target the high-end market segment with the 34R83Q offering a range of applications.
The All New TCL High-End Mini-LED Gaming Monitors
Starting with the specs the 34R83Q features a 34-inch WQHD panel with a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. Utilizing its panel technology TCL introduces an upgraded version known for viewing angles, slim bezels, and more. This monitor boasts a rate of 170 Hz and a quick GtG response time of 1 ms, perfect for gaming and multimedia use.
Among the highlights of TCL Mini LED monitors are VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification, a DCI P3 color rating at 99% covering a color depth of 8bit+RFC, and a peak brightness reaching up to 1600 nits. Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, and one DisplayPort version 1.4 as USB connections like one USB C Gen2 supporting up to 90W power delivery along, with two USB Type-A ports and one USB Type B port – providing users with plenty of choices.
The TCL 34R83Q gaming monitor has a design with black accents and an optional RGB feature called “Wings of Light” similar to Dell’s Alienware monitors. If you’re looking for top-notch specs in a size the 27R83U is a great choice. This monitor features a 4K Mini LED panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 providing higher resolution than the 34-inch model.
Similar to the 34R83Q, it features VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification and a peak brightness of 1600 nits. The main difference lies in its intended audience and the flat panel design.
The TCL 27R83U gaming monitor shares connectivity and USB port options with the 34R83Q but is expected to be priced lower. While the 34R83Q is listed at around €1,199, TCL has not confirmed the MSRP for either model. Overall, both monitors present solid offerings, poised to make an impact in the market if TCL meets expectations.
