Bollywood sensation Varun Dhawan, known for his stellar performances, is set to collaborate once again with his father, esteemed filmmaker David Dhawan. Following the success of ‘Main Tera Hero’, ‘Judwaa 2’, and ‘Coolie No. 1’, Varun is all set for another venture under his father’s direction. The much-anticipated film, produced by Ramesh Taurani, was officially announced by the makers on Thursday. “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai” is the title of the film. Fans are eagerly awaiting further updates on this exciting project.

Varun Dhawan and David Dhawan’s upcoming untitled film is set for a nationwide release on October 2, 2025, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti. Promising a blend of family comedy and entertainment, this marks Varun’s fourth collaboration with his father, David Dhawan. Taran Adarsh also shared the announcement on his Twitter handle.

Varun Dhawan made his debut in a David Dhawan-directed film back in 2014 with “Main Tera Hero,” a remake of the Telugu movie “Kandiriga.” Alongside Varun, the film starred Nargis Fakhri and Ileana D’Cruz in pivotal roles. This collaboration marked the beginning of Varun’s journey with his father’s directorial ventures. Subsequently, in 2017, he starred in “Judwaa 2.” In interviews, Varun expressed admiration for his father’s comedic prowess, referring to him as the “comedy king” for consistently delivering successful films in the genre over three decades.
Their most recent collaboration was “Coolie No. 1,” released in 2020, which also featured Sara Ali Khan and Paresh Rawal. However, unlike their previous ventures, this film did not fare well at the box office. Moving forward, Varun’s upcoming project includes Atlee’s “Baby John.”
