According to some reports, Samsung may launch its Galaxy W21 foldable smartphone in China. It will be the first generation foldable smartphone of the Galaxy W21 series of Samsung. But recently this upcoming Samsung smartphone has visited TENAA’s as well as the 3C certification website. The model number of the Samsung W20 is SM-W2020. In this case, the TENAA and 3C certification websites have listed a Samsung device with the model number of SM-W2021. So, it is quite confirmed that the smartphone will be the Samsung W21 5G.
As the Samsung W21 has been listed on the TENAA certification website, we’ve got a little information about the specifications of this phone. According to the listing, the W21 5G features a 6.23-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Regarding the size, this phone has a dimension of 128.2mm x 159.2mm x 6.2mm.
Coming to the battery, the Galaxy W21 is more likely to have a 2090mAh + 2160mAh (rated value) dual-cell battery whereas the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2’s global variant has a battery backup of 4,500mAH. The dimensions and display of the W21 are quite similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 2 smartphone.
On the other hand, from the 3C certification, it is quite confirmed that Samsung W21 will feature the 5G connectivity. Moreover, the battery of this smartphone might be supported by a 15W fast charger whereas the Z Fold 2 supports 25W. Regarding availability, it is expected that the Galaxy W21 will be available in November 2020 as its predecessor W20 went official in November last year.
