Cast of Migration Movie: A Complete Guide for Cast and Characters

Cast of Migration Movie

This year, check out Migration, the newest animated film from Illumination, for a fun and exciting holiday experience. This action-packed comedy, which comes from the creative brains behind smash hits like The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Minions, Despicable Me, and The Secret Life of Pets, offers the same amount of hilarity while keeping a heartfelt storyline.

With the help of the Mallard family’s feathery heroes, viewers are invited to journey into the unknown in Benjamin Renner’s Oscar-nominated film Migration.

While matriarch Pam longs to escape the routine and introduce their children, Daw and Gwen, to the marvels of the world, patriarch Mack is happy enough to live a peaceful life beside their New England pond. When a family of migrating ducks introduces them to the appeal of distant lands, it serves as a catalyst for change.

Cast of Migration Movie:

Mack Mallard played by Kumail Nanjiani

Mack Mallard, Pam’s husband and the father of Dax and Gwen, is portrayed by Kumail Nanjiani. Mack can’t help but feel a tad bit nervous, even if the rest of his family is thrilled about heading off and traveling across the globe.

With his part in the highly regarded movie The Big Sick, which was a nominee for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, Nanjiani gained notoriety. With his appearances as Kingo in the Marvel movie Eternals, Somen “Steve” Banerjee in Welcome to Chippendales, and Dinesh in the critically acclaimed HBO series Silicon Valley, Nanjiani continues to demonstrate his versatility. Alongside Sam Rockwell, the actor is anticipated to play the lead role in the forthcoming film A Guy Walks Into a Bar.

Elizabeth Banks portrays Pam Mallard, Mack’s wife and the mother of Dax and Gwen. Pam has a more daring life than her husband, who is constantly on the edge.

The most well-known part of Banks’s career is her portrayal of Effie Trinket in the popular film series The Hunger Games. In addition, the actress demonstrated her comedic abilities in the Pitch Perfect series, where she directed Pitch Perfect 2 in addition to starring as Gail Abernathy-McKadden. Her most recent picture, a horror comedy called Cocaine Bear, is based on an odd true tale.

Chump Awkwafina

Awkwafina portrays Chump, the stern head of a New York City-based pigeon gang.
Awkwafina, real name Nora Lum, began her career as a rapper who specialized in fusing wit and surreal humor with her songs. After that, she pursued a career in acting, becoming well-known for her breakthrough performance in Crazy Rich Asians. Her role in Ocean’s 8, where she starred with well-known actors like Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett, is still making waves.

She has a lot of experience in comedy, so she’s not scared to play the lead in more somber roles like The Farewell. The actress is currently showing in Quiz Lady, her most recent picture, where she co-stars with Sandra Oh.

Michael Key in the role of Delroy KeeganMichael Key portrays Delroy, a lonely parrot with a Jamaican accent who lives behind bars in a Manhattan restaurant. Along with Jordan Peele, Key is part of the critically renowned sketch comedy duo Key & Peele.

Thanks to their clever social criticism and well-known sketches like “Obama Meet & Greet,” the comedy pair is a sight to behold. Key’s comedic talent was flawlessly adapted for the big screen in his appearances in Dolemite Is My Name and Keanu.

Key also provided the voice of Toad in Illumination’s previous movie, The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Additionally, he starred as the police chief in the recently released movie Wonka.

Danny DeVito in the role of Dan

In addition to portraying Dan, the gruff and adventure-phobic uncle of the Mack family, Danny DeVito is also Dax and Gwen’s great-uncle. As an actor, DeVito has made a lasting impression on Hollywood. He became well-known for his breakthrough performance in Taxi as Louie De Palma. But DeVito’s most well-known character in pop culture is that of the wacky and eccentric Frank Reynolds from the enduring.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. DeVito starred in Disney’s horror-comedy film Haunted Mansion prior to Migration. Erin David Mitchell, played by Carol Kane, is Googoo, the yogic head of a duck farm.

The comedy team of Mitchell and partner Robert Webb created the sketch show That Mitchell and Webb Look, which helped Mitchell become well-known. Additionally, Mitchell and Webb collaborated on the sitcom Peep Show, where Mitchell gained notoriety as Mark Corrigan. He gained notoriety in 2009 when, for his role in the series, he was awarded the British Academy Television Award for Best Comedy Performance.

Dax Mallard, played by Caspar Jennings

The character played by Caspar Jennings is Dax Mallard, the energetic and self-assured son of Mack and Pam. Jennings has experience in the animation industry. He has acted in Sing and the follow-up Sing 2.

Gwen Mallard As Tresi Gazal

Tresi Gazal portrays Gwen Mallard, the far more naive daughter of Mack and Pam, who captivates spectators. Gazal, a recent actor, is anticipated to star in the upcoming film Billy Knight, which chronicles the adventures of two aspiring filmmakers upon discovering a handkerchief bearing the name “Billy Knight” and a box of unfinished screenplays.
