Samsung Galaxy M55 5G spotted on Google Play Console with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC

The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G is reportedly set to appear in India soon, according to tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings), who posted live photographs of the phone on X (previously Twitter). The phone would come with three rear cameras and be offered in blue and black colors, he continued. When the phone launches, more information should become available.

The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G, model number SM-C5560, has been discovered by 91mobiles in the Google Play Console database. The Galaxy C55 or Galaxy M55 5G may be connected to this model number.

The listing indicates that the Galaxy M55 5G would ship with Android 14 out of the box and 7.5GB of RAM (8GB). It will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, known as the QTI SM7450 chipset. An Adreno 644 GPU is combined with an octa-core processor. With a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the smartphone will have an FHD+ display.

The source claims that the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G was also observed on the FCC certification site, indicating that 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connections would be included. Additionally, the source stated that the phone was observed on the Nemko certification website under the model number SM-M556E/DS, where the ‘DS’ may indicate compatibility for multiple SIM cards.

The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G was previously seen with the model number SM-M556B on Geekbench as well. The listing indicated that an Adreno (TM) 644 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC were likely to power the device. It is probably going to come with One UI, which is based on Android 14.
