The Honor Pad 9 was first introduced to an audience, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona in February 2024 alongside the Honor MagicBook Pro 16. Now this tablet is gearing up for its launch in India as an official online listing has surfaced with information about its design and specifications. It is anticipated that the Indian version of the Honor Pad 9 will closely resemble its model. However, there’s still no confirmation from Honor Tech regarding the tablet’s release date in India.
The Upcoming Honor Pad 9
In India, a dedicated microsite for the Honor Pad 9 has been launched on Amazon indicating that the device will soon be available for purchase on the platform. CP Khandelwal, who serves as the Joint Managing Director of HTech also teased the launch of this tablet through a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) mentioning that it will be bundled with a Bluetooth keyboard.
The microsite offers insights into some features of the variant of the tablet, which largely align with those found in its global counterpart. Including its design. The Pad 9 boasts a display with a front camera positioned at the center of the bezel. Similarly, on its panel, you’ll find a camera setup placed symmetrically at the center to enhance its overall aesthetic appeal.
The Honor Pad 9 is set to feature a 12.1-inch screen with a resolution (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) a fast 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 500 nits. The version, for the market, will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, along, with 8GB of RAM, an 8GB of virtual RAM, and a generous onboard storage capacity of 256GB. It will run on MagicOS 7.2 and house an 8,300mAh battery.
Described as ultra-thin with a metallic finish, the tablet will measure 6.96mm in thickness and weigh 555g. It is confirmed to launch in India in a Space shade. Additionally, the tablet will feature eight speakers with bidirectional voice enhancement technology and background noise cancellation.
