Odisha FC only had one shot on target throughout the game, and barely tested the opposition keeper. In contrast, the Mariners were able to dictate the pace of the game and took 6 shots on target out of 17 in total.
The hosts didn’t take long to establish their dominance in the contest and were all over Odisha FC right from the word go. The Indian Super League (ISL) side’s defense struggled in the first half but was let off the hook on multiple occasions as the Mariners’ forwards kept on wasting chances.
