In the late hours of the night, a powerful earthquake sent shockwaves through various regions of Punjab, causing residents to flee their homes in terror. The seismic activity was particularly felt in Firozpur, Muktsar, and Tarn Taran at 9:24 pm, instilling fear in the populace.
The sudden jolt of the ground beneath them and their homes sent local inhabitants into a panic, prompting them to evacuate their residences and gather on roads and streets. The quake, registering a significant 3.8 on the Richter scale, reportedly had its epicentre in Tarn Taran.
