OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition Set to Launch in India on February 28th

OnePlus recently announced a collaboration with Genshin Impact to launch an edition of its OnePlus 12R smartphone in India on February 28. This partnership comes after the release of the OnePlus 12 series, which includes both the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R models. The company is now gearing up to introduce a version of its flagship OnePlus 12R device designed for fans of the Genshin Impact game. In China, this variant was previously launched as the OnePlus Ace 3 Genshin Impact.

The special edition OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact smartphone is now featured on the India website. Those interested can sign up for notifications to receive information and get access to pre-orders. The listing highlights that this edition promises “a customized flagship smartphone experience tailored for fans of the game. Designed for Genshin Impact gameplay users can embark on an adventure.”

In a development, OnePlus is offering a chance for individuals to win the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition for free. To participate users simply have to visit the smartphones page on the OnePlus India website and sign up for notifications.

Upon its release, one lucky winner will receive the edition OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact smartphone along, with 40 Primogems. Other attendees will get a voucher valued at ₹1,000 that can be used for either the OnePlus 12R or the Genshin Impact Edition. Additionally, OnePlus is conducting a survey about the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition with 30 lucky winners having a chance to win 500 Primogems.

Each user is allowed one chance to participate with an additional opportunity granted for sharing the ‘Notify Me to Win Contest’. The contest period runs from February 22nd to 4:30 PM IST on February 28th, 2024.

OnePlus has not yet revealed the pricing details, for the edition. However, they are currently providing discounts on the OnePlus 12R starting at ₹38,999 (inclusive of bank discounts). Customers can also take advantage of device exchange offers worth up to ₹5,000.

The OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact edition will showcase a design inspired by lightning based on the character Keqing. It will be available in an electro-violet color. Furthermore, this limited edition phone will feature an industry-first electro-etching process. It will be presented in a designed gift box along with exclusive collectible items inspired by the Genshin Impact character Keqing.

In terms of specifications, the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact edition will match those of the OnePlus 12R model. This includes a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.8:9. The display supports up to a 120Hz rate. Boasts a peak brightness of 4500 nits, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

Internally the OnePlus 12R is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset. It can be paired with up to 16GB of RAM. It houses a 5,500mAh battery that supports charging up to 100W included in the package.

When it comes to photography the OnePlus 12R is equipped with three cameras. A 50-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel wide lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor specifically for macro shots. Additionally, there is a 16-megapixel camera for taking selfies and making video calls.
