Realme made an announcement on Wednesday, about the launch of the Realme 12+ 5G in India month. They revealed details about its camera mentioning that it will be the smartphone in its price range in India to introduce a 50-megapixel Sony LYT 600 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). This week leaked images showed what seemed to be boxes of the Realme 12+ 5G, accompanied by teasers from the company teasing the arrival of a new device.

The launch event for the Realme 12+ 5G in India is scheduled for March 6 at noon according to an announcement from the company. A preview page on their website showcases a colored rear panel design. While specific specifications have not been officially revealed yet by Realme some details have already surfaced online.
At the time a leaked image of what appears to be the box of the Realme 12+ surfaced earlier this week through Ishan Agarwal, a reliable source known for tech leaks on social media platforms. The box suggests that the smartphone will run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7050 processor and feature a display, with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The image that was leaked of the Realme 12+ 5G box also shows that the phone will come with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 67W charging. Furthermore, it confirms that the device will feature a Sony LYT 600 sensor, with OIS as already mentioned by the company. The part of the box displaying the smartphone’s price has purposely been hidden.
Previously leaked specifications of the Realme 12+ 5G provide insight into what enthusiasts can expect from the upcoming device. The phone is rumored to boast a triple camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It is anticipated to feature a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) AMOLED display and offer up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
