Xiaomi launched an affordable handset from its 9 series smartphone- Redmi 9A with a big display, good battery life, and 3GB+32GB of storage. Now, Xiaomi has officially announced that they are going to introduce another variant of this phone. The new variant will have a bigger storage option than the previous one. So let’s check out all the specifications of this new 9A variant.
The newly launched 9A features 6GB RAM with 128GB of inbuilt storage configuration, whereas previously the phone was available in two storage variants-2GB+32GB and 3GB+32GB. This new variant will be launched in China for CYN 999($146), and will go on sale tomorrow (29th September) at 10:00AM(Chinese Standard Time).
This dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi 9A runs on Android 10 with the support of MIUI 12 and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G25 SoC Processor. Regarding the display, this phone features a 6.53-inches HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) LCD Dot Drop display with a 20:9 aspect ratio.
This phone is backed by a 5,000mAH battery that supports 10W fast charging. Xiaomi has claimed that with the help of the Enhanced Lifespan Battery (ELB) technology, the battery of this phone will last three years without losing capacity. Regarding the connectivity, this phone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a Micro-USB port. It comes with the AI face unlock and the splash resistant.
In terms of camera, this phone comes with a single 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and 1080p video recording. For the selfies, you will get a 5-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture on the front, which is housed inside a waterdrop-style notch. The bezels of this phone are quite thick.
The Redmi 9A has a dimension of 164.9×77.07x9mm and weighs about 194 grams. This phone has no fingerprint sensor.
