The Upcoming Realme Note 50
Realme Philippines has unveiled a teaser on X (formerly Twitter), announcing the global launch of the Realme Note 50 smartphone. The tagline for the teaser, “Long Lasting Value Companion,” suggests a focus on the device’s battery longevity and affordability. Realme Philippines has disclosed that the Realme Note 50 will make its global debut on January 23 in the Philippines, with the launch event streaming at 12 PM PST or 9:30 AM IST.
The smartphone will be available in black and blue color options, and the SIM card tray is visible on the left side of the device. The teaser video reveals three circular rings on the rear panel of the upcoming smartphone, hinting at the presence of two rear cameras and an LED flash. Additionally, the video confirms a dual-tone hue on the rear panel.
In a separate note, Sky Li, the founder and CEO of Realme, confirmed that the upcoming Note series is geared towards entry-level customers. The note emphasizes that Realme did not release any flagship or entry-level smartphones in the USD 100 (approximately Rs 8,400) segment. The Realme Note 50 is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch HD+ display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The IPS panel will incorporate a waterdrop-style notch housing the selfie camera. Live images of the device on X (formerly Twitter) confirm the inclusion of a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port. The GeekBench listing further reveals that the device will be powered by the Unisoc T612 SoC.
