4. Wayne Rooney – 103 assists 

Wayne Rooney’s time at Manchester United saw him emerge as one of the best British footballers, ultimately registering 103 assists in the Premier League while also playing for Everton. He also scored 208 goals in the English top flight before moving to DC United for a new challenge. Many still consider Rooney one of the best to have ever played in England.

After his return from a lengthy layoff in 23/24, Kevin De Bruyne is back to business with another assist. The Belgian is now in the top three for the most assists provided in the Premier League. And soon, he will surpass another league legend if he continues at the pace he is at. 

2. Cesc Fabregas – 111 assists

Fabregas started out as a member of Arsenal’s invincibles, before a spell at Barcelona and his return to England with Chelsea. The Spaniard recently hung up his boots, and is still remembered fondly for his vision and passing prowess, reflected in his 111 assists. 

1. Ryan Giggs – 162 assists 

Very few players can boast of the longevity that Ryan Giggs had. The Manchester United icon registered 162 assists over a career that spanned 23 years in the Premier League, winning the league title in 13 seasons and then winning the Champions League twice under Sir Alex Ferguson.
