Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 and Active5 5G Spotted on Bluetooth SIG Certification

Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its newest Galaxy Tab, the Active5, as both its 5G and WiFi versions recently surfaced on the FCC certification website. Today, the Galaxy Tab Active5 and Galaxy Tab Active5 5G versions have been identified on the Bluetooth SIG certification website with model numbers SM-X300, SM-X306B/N, and SM-X308U/B, respectively.

Unfortunately, the Bluetooth SIG certification listing doesn’t provide specific specifications for the device, but it aligns with the expected moniker, hinting at an imminent launch. However, a recent FCC certification listing has shed light on the tablet’s features, including 128GB of internal storage, microSD support for up to 64GB, compatibility with the S-Pen, and a 15W charger.

The tablet has also made an appearance on the popular Geekbench database under the SM-X306B model number, achieving a score of 1022 in the single-core test and 2815 in the multicore test. The listing also discloses that the tablet will operate on Android 14 and will come with 6GB of RAM. Despite this information, details about the upcoming Galaxy Tab Active5 remain limited, but more information is anticipated in the coming days.

As for the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro, it features a 10.1-inch TFT LCD with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset paired with an Adreno 642L GPU, the tablet is available in two storage configurations: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro includes a 13MP single rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies. The device is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack and supports essential sensors such as a front-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensor, and compass. The tablet is fueled by a 7600mAh battery.
