Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 5G series is set to launch in India during the first week of January. The Redmi Note 13 5G series, which originally debuted in China in September, includes the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+. All three models boast a 6.67-inch 1.5K full-HD+ AMOLED display and are equipped with a 16-megapixel front camera. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro features a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC.
The Upcoming Redmi Note 13 5G Series
The official launch date for the Redmi Note 13 5G series in India is confirmed for January 4, as announced by Xiaomi through a tweet and a media invite. The company has also established a landing page on its Indian website, inviting interested customers to click on the “Notify Me” button for the latest updates about the upcoming Redmi Note lineup.
The Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ originally debuted in China in September and are anticipated to make their India debut on January 4. As for the expected pricing, the Redmi Note 13 starts at CNY 1,199 (approximately ₹13,900) in China, the Redmi Note 13 Pro begins at CNY 1,499 (around ₹17,400), and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ carries an initial price tag of CNY 1,999 (roughly ₹22,800). It is anticipated that the Indian variants will be priced similarly.
A recent leak hinted at the European pricing of the Note 13 Pro models, suggesting a price of EUR 450 (roughly ₹40,700) for the Redmi Note 13 Pro and EUR 500 (around ₹45,000) for the Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
In terms of specifications, the Indian variants of the Redmi Note 13 5G series are expected to mirror their Chinese counterparts. Running on Android 13-based MIUI 14, the lineup features a 6.67-inch 1.5K full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Redmi Note 13 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC. The base model, Redmi Note 13, houses a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC.
The camera setup includes a dual rear camera unit with a 100-megapixel primary sensor for the Redmi Note 13, while the Pro models sport triple rear cameras led by a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). All phones are equipped with a 16-megapixel front camera.
