Manchester United have swept up the Premier League monthly awards for November. The most eye-catching piece of news comes in the form of Harry Maguire being named the Player of the Month for November. The centre-back started each of United’s four games and kept clean sheets in three of them.
The England international only failed to shut out Newcastle United, who won 1-0 against the Red Devils. Regardless, it is a brilliant redemption arc for the defender who was harshly criticised for his errors over the years. In spite of the calls for him to leave, Maguire has stayed calm and professional, and has now shown what he is truly capable of.
Manchester United win all three Premier League monthly awards for November
Alejandro Garnacho claimed the November Goal of the Month award for his outstanding bicycle kick against Everton. The young Argentine has now become a regular in the starting line-up for Erik Ten Hag due to his influential performances when out on the left wing.
And after initially struggling to get results, November was a great month for United with Ten Hag claiming the manager of the month award as well. His side kept three clean sheets and lost only one of their four games, hence earning him the award.
Most recently, Manchester United defeated Chelsea 2-1 at Old Trafford and were very dominant with their performance. It could be a sign of resurgence for the first team, who sit outside the top four, with their chances of making it to the knockout stages of the Champions League also looking bleak.
