Replacing Luka Jovic in the 83rd minute, Francesco Camarda came on for his Serie A debut in Milan’s 1-0 win over Fiorentina this past weekend. The striker became the youngest player to ever feature in the Italian Serie A, aged 15 years and 260 days.
With Olivier Giroud, Noah Okafor and Rafael Leao all unavailable, Camarda was called up from the academy to make his debut. The hierarchy considers him a top prospect for the future and will soon give him a professional contract once he turns 16 years old.

The youngster made headlines with his outrageous scoring record at the youth levels. From 2017 to 2020, when he was aged 13, he already had a record of scoring 483 goals in 87 games – an unbelievable fest that earned him a number of plaudits.
And now, he has made it to the first team and could become a regular under Stefano Pioli given their hectic schedule. With Olivier Giroud entering his twilight years, Camarda has an exceptional mentor to polish his skills under. Standing at 6 feet tall, with still some years to grow, he is tall, quick and physically dominant.
Francesco Camarda has also represented Italy at the U15, U16 and U17 youth levels, working his way up the ranks steadily. This season, he has scored 7 goals in 13 appearances in the Primavera, Coppa Primavera as well as the UEFA Youth League.
And with his first appearance already out of the way, he could slowly find his footing in the first team with enough time on his side.
