We’re just a few weeks away from the release of the upcoming Samsung flagships, with the Galaxy S24 series debut reportedly happening on January 17. An updated leak has surfaced on the internet, showing the purported Galaxy S24 Ultra in silver. With a flat screen and back, the forthcoming Samsung flagship has an almost identical appearance to the departing Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Galaxy S24 Ultra specifications (expected)
Display | 6.78″ flat QHD+ Dynamic Amoled 2X Display; 2500 nit peak brightness |
Processor | Snapdragon 8 Gen 3Â for Galaxy |
Rear Camera | 200mp/12mp UW/50mp 5x/10mp 3x |
Front Camera | 16 MP |
Battery | 5000mAh Battery |
Price | $1199 |
Design | Titanium frame |
The Galaxy S24 Ultra will continue to use the same four cameras as its predecessor, which are all contained inside different metal rings. Also visible is the purported titanium frame that is expected to take the place of the S23 series’ Armor Aluminum casing.
The leaked image shows that the screen is noticeably flatter than its predecessor, deviating from the curved sides that are usually associated with smartphones. As such, the smartphone’s sides seem thicker in this most recent version. There’s a sense of expectation for the official Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra announcement because of the change from Samsung’s custom of using curved panels to a flatter screen with thicker sides.
