After the end of the disastrous end of the last season, FC Barcelona is once again looking to get back to the top this season. They have already appointed the club legend Ronald Koeman as their new manager.
After joining as a manager Ronald Koeman has taken some major steps to bring the glory days back again. He has already declared the names of the player who will be part of the FC Barcelona team next season. Others may have to leave the club.
FC Barcelona has already signed Miralem Pjanic from Juventus in a swap deal with Arthur Melo. Another midfielder Ivan Rakitic has also left the club and returned to Sevilla a few days back.
Ronald Koeman was the coach of the Netherlands football team. He now wants three of his national team’s players in the Barcelona team. Koeman wants Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum to maintain the quality of the midfield.
To solve the defensive issues in the side Ronald Koeman wants Inter central defender Stefan de Vrij. It is also reported that Manchester City defender Eric Garcia, who came through the Blaugrana’s youth academy, is the other player who is also in the transfer plans of Koeman.
Memphis Depay is the fourth player who is on the target list. Luis Suarez, who was struggled a lot in the last few seasons, is not in the plans of the new manager. Koeman has identified Memphis Depay as the replacement of the Uruguayan striker.
After a long communication with the board, Lionel Messi has finally decided to stay at the club for at least one more year. Koeman has confirmed Phillippe Coutinho is also a part of the FC Barcelona team next season. If Koeman gets the players he wants then there will be an FC Barcelona team full of potentials to be back to the top again.
