The OnePlus 12 is poised for a December debut in China, as confirmed by the Chinese manufacturer through Weibo. This successor to the OnePlus 11 will be unveiled during the brand’s tenth-anniversary celebrations. Anticipation surrounds the device, known to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and equipped with a BOE X1 OLED LTPO display featuring a 2K resolution. Additional highlights include the incorporation of ColorOS 14 and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.

The Upcoming OnePlus 12 in China

Through Weibo, OnePlus has offered glimpses into the design and specifications of the OnePlus 12, revealing that it will run on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14. The device claims the distinction of being the first in China with a 2K resolution display to secure DisplayMate’s A+ certification. The ProXDR display is anticipated to deliver a peak brightness of 2,600 nits.

The OnePlus 12 will boast the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and house a primary rear camera sensor, the Sony LYTIA LYT808. A notable feature is the inclusion of a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.

Leaked information suggests that the OnePlus 12 could sport a 6.82-inch QHD+ (1,440 x 3,168 pixels) curved LTPO display. The camera setup may comprise a triple rear unit, spearheaded by a 50-megapixel primary sensor, with a 32-megapixel selfie sensor on the front. Powering the device could be a substantial 5,400mAh battery, supporting 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
