BSNL is offering free 4G SIM upgrade to its 2G/3G customers with Complimentary 4GB Data

BSNL has announced that customers of BSNL 2G and 3G can upgrade to a 4G SIM card for free. BSNL is offering free 4G SIM upgrade along with free internet. This was disclosed in a post on the social media platform X by BSNL Andhra Pradesh.

The decision is consistent with the company’s earlier declaration that it will begin deploying 5G in India by July 2024, following the rollout of 4G in its service areas nationwide. We examine BSNL’s free 4G SIM upgrade information.

The company’s attempts to build its 5G network are supported by the government-run Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT), which constructed the entirety of BSNL’s network internally. This network is expected to be deployed within the next six to eight months. A notable highlight of the India Mobile Congress 2024 was C-DoT’s live demonstration of their 5G setup during a video conference with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

BSNL Festive Deals details and offers-

As part of its Diwali seasonal promotions, BSNL is offering three gigabytes of free data with several of its recharge plans. The extra data would be available in addition to the data included in the recharge plans for Rs 251, Rs 299, and Rs 398. To take advantage of the free data, users must recharge using the BSNL Self-care app or website.

The Rs 251 recharge plan from BSNL comes with 70GB of data. Users that recharge the plan receive 73GB of data in total, good for 28 days. 3GB of internet is available each day with the BSNL Rs 299 data coupon.

BSNL is offering a Rs 398 recharge voucher as part of their seasonal offerings. On top of the 120GB of data that the plan already offers, users receive an additional 3GB of free data. For the duration of the plan’s validity, which is 30 days, consumers who recharge will receive a total of 123GB of data.
