Recently, there has been a report indicating that the Honor Magic Vs 2 foldable phone has appeared on China’s 3C certification website. This new foldable device is expected to follow up on the previous Honor Magic Vs, which was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 in Barcelona, Spain back in February of this year.
Honor has now officially revealed the launch date for the Honor Magic Vs 2 and also confirmed the release of the Honor Watch 4 Pro on the same day. The Honor Watch 4 Pro will be joining the existing Honor Watch 4, which made its debut in China in July and is likely to soon launch in India.
The Upcoming Honor Magic Vs 2 Foldable Phone and Honor Watch 4 Pro
According to a Weibo post from Honor, both the Honor Magic Vs 2 and the Honor Watch 4 Pro are scheduled to be launched in China on October 12. However, the company has not yet disclosed any further details regarding these products and their global release. More information may become available in the days leading up to the launch.
Furthermore, a recent Geekbench listing revealed an Honor device with the model number VER-AN00, believed to be the Magic Vs 2, equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and 16GB of RAM. An earlier listing on the 3C certification website also featured a similar model number, VCA-AN00, for this phone, which is expected to come with Android 13.
The teaser image shared by Honor hints at the presence of a 50-megapixel primary rear camera in the Magic Vs 2, along with a possible secondary 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens and an 8-megapixel 3x telephoto camera, similar to its predecessor, the Honor Magic Vs. Honor claims that the Magic Vs 2 will be slimmer and lighter compared to the previous model.
On a different note, the Honor Watch 4 Pro is said to offer a blend of classic design and advanced technology, as indicated in a translated description from Chinese. This will complement the upcoming launch of the Honor Watch 4, which may soon become available in India.
